Summary: One of two courses in Northern Ireland that could be a future venue for the British Open. There can be few more beautiful places to play this game than here when the sun shines down onto the Mountains of Mourne and the Irish Sea. Accuracy and a sure touch are all essential on this course. Royal County Down is regarded to be one of the top three in the whole of Europe. The British Senior Open was held here in 2000. |
