Summary:
Despite the name, this course is situated on a peninsula rather than an island. The original course was known for its numerous blind shots but although most of these were removed after remodelling, the course remains quite challenging. The Irish PGA Championship was held here in 1999. Beware of the 'fearsome' 13th hole, where the wind hazard adds to the experience.
